Noodles always make a great side dish and they compliment many entrees. In the past I cooked the noodles and poured browned butter over them. Doing that makes good noodles but it comes with excess grease. So why not make Great noodles?
Seems to good to be true, in the same amount of time you would make the store-bought noodle side dish, you can make homemade! The taste of these creamy buttered noodles is light and doesn’t have that chemical taste. All you need are four ingredients and you’ll have the perfect side dish for your next meal.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 stick butter
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 8 oz medium wide egg noodles
Directions
- Bring the water, 1/2 stick of butter and bouillon cubes to a boil
- Add the noodles
- Cook on medium heat for 7 minutes, stir occasionally
- Add the other 1/2 stick of butter
- Remove from heat
- Mix everything together
